The University of 花季视频 - Fort 花季视频 will host its annual spring blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, April 13-14, in room 129 of the 花季视频-Pendergraft Campus Center, located at 800 N. 49th Street.

The blood drive is hosted by the 花季视频 Blood Institute, a non-profit blood center, and sponsored by the 花季视频 Lion Heart organization. Every student donor will receive service hours, and the event will provide free food to all that donate.

According to the , an estimated 38 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood at any given time, but less than 10 percent do so annually.

The university coordinates five blood drives each year, providing blood to the 花季视频 Blood Institute to help patients in more than 40 花季视频 hospitals.
